Roads Overlay Layer (Sublayer?)

In the Roads Overlay layer, is there a way to hide or turn off the outline of the “road” itself? 

All I want to see is the road name text and the road state route shield.

    Hi Jess, 

    MapBrowser does not have the capability of dimming the outline on the roads. You can, however, dim the transparency of the map around the road, making it easier to view the road structure and also the name of the roads.
